CURCURUTO HEADS LIST OF 13 PLAYERS DRAFTED INTO THE OHL TODAY OFF THE MISSISSAUGA REPS

Gianluca Curcuruto was drafted in the 1st round, (14th overall) by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in this mornings OHL draft.  Curcuruto joined the Mississauga Reps six years ago back in Atom.  A strong physical offensive 6'1"  180lbs LD, Curcuruto also played up with our Midgets throughout the playoffs, the OHF's and helped them to a Silver Medal in last weeks Telus Cup in Levis, Quebec. Curcuruto also was chosen as the only Mississauga Rep Minor Midget to move onto the upcoming regional Under 17 Camp.

Terry Trafford was drafted in the 3rd round(42nd overall)  by the Saginaw Spirit.  Trafford a 5'10 175lbs LW was also a ranked boxer fighting in places from Nova Scotia to St. Louis.  Trafford also played up with our Midgets through the OHF's and Telus Cup in Levis, Quebec.

Darryl Snelling was drafted in the 3rd round (43rd overall) by Belleville Bulls.  Snelling is a 6'2" 160lbs LD. This was Snellings first season with the Mississauga Reps after joining us from the Whitby Wildcats. In 64 gamesw Snelling registered 2 goals and 13 assists.

Cody Payne was drafted in the 3rd round (58th overall) by the Oshawa Generals.  Payne, a 6'2" 195lb C, joined the Mississauga Reps two years ago from Florida. Cody is a smooth skating, good puck handler who performed well at the recent U.S. Under 17 camp.

Ryan Lomberg was drafted in the 4th round (68th overall) by the Peterborough Petes.  Lomberg is a player who never stops, works all ends of the ice, is physical and can score.  Lomberg, a heart and soul player, has played for the Mississauga Reps since his Atom year.  Lomberg goes to the Petes where former Mississauga Reps Adrain Robertson ('91) plays D.

Matt Lane was drafted in the 5th round (82nd overall) by the Brampton Battalion.  Lane, who joined us from Syracuse this season, goes to the same Junior team as his older brother Philip.  Lane also joins fellow Mississauag Reps Michael Santini ('91) a winger with the Battalion.  Lane also performed well at the U.S. Under 17's

Kyle Rowe was drafted in the 5th round by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (94th overall) Rowe a physical, hard nosed right winger joins fellow team mate Curcuruto.  Rowe has played for the Mississauga Reps for two seasons.

Zachary Pryzbek was drafted in the 7th round (130th overall) by the Barrie Colts. Pyrzbek, a 6"1" LW, also played up with our Midgets helping them win a Silver Medal in the Telus Cup.  This was Pryzbek's first year with the Mississauga Reps joining us from St. Catherines.

Callum Hoffard was drafted in the 10th round (199th) by the London Knights.  Hoffard whose father was an assistant coach with our 94's last season played in London last season.  Callum also AP'd several times with our Midgets.

Alex D'Olliveria, captain of our Midget team, was drafted in the 11th round (201st) by the Sarnia Sting.  D'Ollivera or Dolli to his friends, a 6'1" 201lb stay-at-home D, who is great on the power play was a key part of our Major Midget team that finished first in league play, won the GTHL Championship, won the OHF Championship and represented the Central region of Canada in the Telus Cup in Levis Quebec winning the Silver Medal.

Luke Nogard was drafted by the Saginaw Spirit in the 11th round (212th).  Nogard, a 6' 185lb LW will join teammate Terry Trafford and former Rep Mitch Fillman ('90) on the Spirit.

Alex Lepore was drafted by the Brampton Battalion in the 12th round (129th overall).  This was Lepore's second season with the Mississauga Reps.  Lepore, a 5'11" goalie is ranked amongst the top goaltenders in the GTHL.  Lepore joins the Battalion with fellow teammate Matt Lane.

Connor Currie  was drafted by the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in the 12th round (220th).  Currier joins former Rep players Casey Cizikas ('91 - a New York Ranger draft pick), and David Corrente ('91) who currently star for St. Mike's
